The AEP method

Structure beats intensity you can't repeat

The method is a framework, not a secret. It applies well-established training principles consistently across every AEP program.

01

Benchmark first

Every cycle starts with standardised tests, so you know your starting point instead of guessing it.

02

Planned progression

Volume and density increase on a schedule you can see in advance — not when you happen to feel good.

03

Managed fatigue

Deload weeks and recovery guidance are part of the plan, not something you skip.

04

Re-test and decide

The cycle ends where it started: same tests, compared honestly, with a clear next step.

How a cycle works

Each program follows the same arc. You test, you train through planned blocks that gradually increase the workload, you back off to recover, and you test again.

Because the tests are the same at the start and the end, you get a clear answer to the question most people never answer: did that work?

What progression means here

  • Adding total quality repetitions across a session.
  • Doing the same work in less time (density).
  • Moving to a harder variation once you meet a clear standard.

What we don't claim

We don't promise specific numbers. Your results depend on your starting point, consistency, sleep, nutrition and recovery. The benchmark exists so you can measure your own progress rather than take our word for it.

AEP Performance 01

Eight weeks, start to finish

  1. Week 0Test

    Technical maximums set your targets.

  2. Weeks 1–2Baseline

Learn the formats; record Benchmark 5.

  3. Week 3Build

    Selective increase in volume.

  4. Week 4Deload

    About a third less volume.

  5. Weeks 5–6Intensify

    Reps, then density.

  6. Week 7Peak

    Highest planned workload.

  7. Week 8Re-test

    Same tests, same conditions.
